v1.7.5 [18/09/2026]
- Added
Galleries in the Content Manager: a library of albums, each holding any number of pictures and videos in the order you arrange them, with a title, a summary and a description, a category, a cover, a date, a place and a credit.
- Added
pictures are added by dropping them onto the album - several at once, each with its own progress bar - or picked from the media library. Videos are added by their YouTube or Vimeo address and sit among the pictures. Every item carries a title, a caption and alternative text, and any item can be made the cover.
- Added
/gallerylists the published albums with a filter for the categories in use, and/gallery/<slug>.htmlis an album's own page: a mosaic that opens any picture in a lightbox moved with the arrow keys, swiped on a phone, closed with Esc and linkable on its own. Drafts stay private; album pages are listed in the sitemap. - Added
two page sections that draw on the same albums, so a picture added to an album shows everywhere it is used at once: Gallery Albums shows the albums as cards, and Gallery Album puts one album's pictures on the page in the same lightbox.
- Added
Galleries to the website sections in Setup › Management Levels, so it can be switched off like Updates, the Knowledgebase and Events. Editing galleries needs the Manage Content permission.
- Updated
both client themes style the gallery, the album page, the lightbox and both sections in light and dark mode and at phone width.
- Fixed
cards on a section with a background picture, which in dark mode all but disappeared over the picture. They now take a dark surface of their own.
- Updated
the release carries a migration,
upgrade175.sql, that adds two tables and changes nothing that exists.
