What WBAMS does
WBAMS is a connected billing operations platform. It keeps customer identity, subscribed services, recurring billing, invoice delivery, payment activity, support work, website content, and operational reporting in one system. The important design principle is shared context: a team should not have to reconstruct the customer story from unrelated tools.
Before you begin
- Choose the public system URL and HTTPS hostname.
- Prepare an empty MySQL-compatible database and a dedicated database user.
- Decide who owns billing, customer operations, support, and website content.
- List the services, billing cycles, currencies, taxes, and payment gateways you need.
- Prepare outgoing email credentials and a monitored support mailbox.
- Plan file storage, backups, scheduler execution, and alert ownership.
Recommended first-day sequence
- Install and secure WBAMS.Complete the installer, accept the EULA, enable HTTPS, and protect the control area.
- Set the organization identity.Configure company name, address, email sender, locale, currency, and invoice presentation.
- Configure automation.Run the scheduler every five minutes and choose the daily automation hour.
- Connect money movement.Add payment gateways, verify callback URLs, and perform sandbox transactions.
- Build the catalog.Create plan groups, plans, prices, provisioning behavior, and customer-facing descriptions.
- Prepare support.Create departments, routing addresses, knowledgebase categories, and ticket policies.
- Publish the website.Review the CMS-built Home, Platform, Solutions, and Company pages in light and dark modes.
- Run acceptance tests.Create a disposable customer, order, invoice, payment, and ticket; then remove the test data.
