    one setting for the mail system: Setup › Webmail asks whether cPanel or Microsoft 365 holds the mail and shows the setup for that one. The sign-in screen, the mail client, the sender, the mailbox screen and the automatic address offer all read it. An installation upgrading from 1.8.x carries on as before until the screen is saved.

    webmail reporting itself ready on the strength of a system it was not using; the check looks only at the system in use and names what it is missing.

  • Updated

    under Microsoft 365 WBAMS refuses every cPanel action on a mailbox, by any route. Deleting is allowed, so mailboxes made before the switch can be cleared; it removes the record and leaves cPanel untouched.

  • Fixed

    changing the setting signing out people who were reading their mail. A webmail session remembers how it began.

  • Updated

    no database changes; the upgrade replaces files and advances the version.
