v1.8.0 [19/09/2026]
- Added
Microsoft 365 mailboxes in webmail. Microsoft has permanently disabled password sign-in for IMAP, so a mailbox whose mail Microsoft delivers is opened with Microsoft sign-in. It is the same mailbox Outlook reads: a message read in one is read in the other.
- Added
sending through Microsoft Graph, falling back to SMTP when Graph is unavailable or refuses, so a message still goes out. Graph files its own copy in Sent Items.
- Security
no Microsoft token is written to the database: tokens live in the webmail session, sealed as the mailbox password already was.
- Added
setup needs an application registration in Microsoft Entra ID; Setup › Webmail prints the exact redirect URI to register. See Set up webmail.
- Fixed
webmail demanding a cPanel connection an installation on Microsoft could never have.
- Updated
no mailbox is created automatically on a mail domain Microsoft delivers; those mailboxes are made in Microsoft. In this release the choice was made per mail domain; 1.9.0 replaces it with one setting for the installation.
- Updated
no database changes; the upgrade replaces files and advances the version.
