Storage types
WBAMS separates application code from customer attachments, downloads, CMS media, compiled templates, and other generated assets. Configure each location deliberately and keep private material outside the public web root.
Permissions
Grant the web-server and scheduler users only the read/write access they need. Keep configuration, database exports, and private storage inaccessible over HTTP. Verify ownership after copying or restoring files.
Moving storage
The storage-movement progress table is a live product feature, not historical release migration data. It tracks controlled relocation of file assets. Do not delete or edit active progress records while a storage move is running.
Missing-file response
- Confirm the database record points to the expected storage configuration.
- Verify the physical object exists and matches case-sensitive naming.
- Check permissions and the web/scheduler user identities.
- Review recent storage moves, restores, and cleanup tasks.
- Restore from backup only after identifying whether the database or filesystem is authoritative.
