where a file is used: selecting a file lists every page, menu item, update, article, event, album, setting and theme file that shows it, each with a link to the screen that edits it. Deleting or renaming a file in use warns first and offers to replace it instead; files used nowhere carry an Unused mark and can be listed on their own.

Replace: a new version of a file takes its place under the same name and address, so everything that shows it shows the new one at once. The new file must be the same type.

Recently deleted: a deleted file, and the previous version of a replaced one, waits 30 days and can be restored to its old address with one click.
